Bill filed to prevent disability fraud

A bill has been filed at the United States House of Representatives that aims to reduce Social Security fraud, insurancenews.net reported on August 2.

Texas Republican Representative Sam Johnson introduced House Resolution 5260 on July 30 with four other co-sponsors: Republican representatives Diane Black  of Tennessee, Kevin Brady of Texas, Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania and Tim Griffin of Arkansas.

The bill will be referred to the House Ways and Means Committee for further review.
