Houston, Texas resident Pete A. Herrada filed a personal injury lawsuit against Landry’s Seafood House-San Luis, Inc. and Landry’s Inc. on Tuesday, November 1 in the Galveston County 405th District Court. The plaintiff is claiming he suffered an allergic reaction from the meal he was served at the restaurant when he and his family dined at the restaurant back in February 2016.
According to the lawsuit, Herrada provided specific instructions to the waiter about his crawfish etouffee and fried oysters. Namely, he said he instructed the waiter to make sure the dish was free of any shrimp or shrimp residue. The lawsuit states, “The waiter assured him that he would make sure his food did not contain any shrimp. After the plaintiff’s order arrived, he began eating and immediately began having an allergic reaction.”
