 In Personal Injury

Elia Torres Araiza was seriously injured when she was driving along Highway 281 in San Antonio, Texas on Friday, May 6 when a large metal rim flew through her vehicle’s windshield. The rim hit Araiza in the head before it flew out through a back window.

Araiza’s car was seen after the accident with a large hole in the windshield and another big one in the side window. She was headed north on the roadway, near Basse, at the time of the incident. Police suspect that the rim came from another vehicle but remain unsure. Araiza was brought by ambulance to University Hospital for the treatment of her injuries. Police investigators are still investigating what caused the accident to begin with.
