Neurosurgeon allegedly intentionally botching spinal operations

 In Medical Malpractice

Texas neurosurgeon Christopher Duntsch is potentially facing a 99-year jail term in relation to multiple charges of intentionally botching surgeries and permanently injuring and causing death to his patients who have undergone spinal operations under his care.

According to The New York Daily News, Judge Carter Thompson denied a reduction of Duntsch’s $600,000 bail last Monday, August 24, after prosecuting attorneys filed evidence of a 2011 email that Duntsch sent to an employee, which said: “I am ready to leave the love and kindness and goodness and patience that I mix with everything else that I am and become a cold-blooded killer”.
