SSA stops issuing Social Security number printouts to cut costs

 In Social Security Disability

As part of the Social Security Administration’s plan to cut costs, the Social Security Administration will discontinue releasing Social Security number (SSN) card printouts.

To facilitate a smooth transition, a Social Security member can request their SSN at a local office until April 2014. The SSA has made a point to come up with online solutions that allow members easy access to Social Security benefits.

Filing for Social Security Disability can be difficult. If you need assistance with Social Security filing or appeals, the San Antonio attorneys at the Chris Mayo Law Firm can assist you. Call (210) 999-9999 to discuss options.
