SSA to enforce stringent rules for disability claims

The Social Security Administration has been planning to require applicants for disability benefits to submit all relevant documents regarding their medical condition in order to have their disability benefit applications approved.

This initiative is a response to a 2011 Wall Street Journal article that alleges officials at national disability firm Binder & Binder often withhold information about their clients if it could be unfavorable to the acceptance of their disability claim.

If your disability prevents you from being able to earn a living, you could be eligible to receive disability benefits. However, applying for disability benefits can be a complicated process. The attorneys at the Chris Mayo Law Firm advocate for disabled San Antonio people.
