Three children killed in school bus-related accidents in one week

 In Wrongful Death

6-year-old first-grader Jada Craft was one of three children in the U.S. who was struck and killed by a school bus in one week, earlier this month. She was struck by the driver of her school bus in Universal City, just outside San Antonio, before school that morning. The bus driver didn’t realize what had happened until hours later, after Jada had been taken home by a relative, where she passed away.

Another child, also a six-year-old and whose name has yet to be released by the authorities, was struck by a school bus and was killed instantly on Monday, April 7 after getting off the bus. He was a student at the Chattanooga Valley Elementary School in Flintstone, Georgia.

The third bus victim in the same week was an 18-year-old student in Florida.

The thoughts of everyone at our firm go out to the families of the victims of these terrible tragedies.
